Loud Fan

Hi, I have a PCG K415B laptop which I am going to need to use for work. I have upgraded the RAm to 960MB and the noise of the fan is driving me mad. Any suggestions on what can be done please let me know...
Does this need upgrading as well?

welcome to Club VAIO..

The fan noise could be due to a build up of dust, try cleaning the cooling vents of dust with compressed air (you should be able to get this from your local PC shop), check the instructions on the can before using because if used incorrectly you could damage the fan..
