Large Windows Media Player collection: Best way to get onto VGFA-P1L

Evening all,

I've got a VGFA-P1L and about 16GB of music in Windows Media Player 10, a lot of which is in compilation albums so spread around the My Music folder in various places.

Is there an easy way to transfer it or do I just need to suck it up an do it manually by uploading the albums again onto Sonic Stage? I don't mind doing this although was wondering what others did

Thanks

I had roughly 10 gigs of music all that was stored in a my music folder (using WM10 to arrange it all nicely)

I had to do it all manually, and go get all the covers etc.

There are probably easier ways, but i just couldnt wait! If its all in WMA then get ready to convert! loooong times, just leave it on over night etc, all day....also convert to at least 132kbps

I believe microsoft offer a utility which they are now giving away a utility which will allow you convert file format...

also just from my own experiance.... encode using WMP10 into MP3. The sonic stage software does not then ask to convert to aac or whatever and just playes them.

I hope this helps...

Good day !!!!!!!!

Thanks for your help.

Appears there is no real sure fast way. I'll probably just rip them all to Sonic Stage and do it that way. At least it is there for emergencies
