I have a vgn fw31m notebook with a ATI Radeon hd3470, ATI HDMI audio (version 6.0.1.5692)
I traid to links my notebook tot a sony bravia LCD TV with a HDMI cable. The movi is good but I have no sound.

Switching the audio output to digital HDMI is usually a manual process.

Have you tried going to Control Panel -> Audio and changing the default audio output from 'Speakers' to 'Digital HDMI'?
