HD changed on PCG-K115S

Youpla, i have change my hard drive of my PCG-K115S notebook and it was a success. For information it's an Hitachi 2.5" Travelstar 80go 7200 t/min, you can go with your eyes close !! :smileygrin:

i bought the same hard disk only the 100 giga version

but i dont feel any difference indead in my opinion it is going slower,

i have a sony vaio vgn-fj1s

do i need to instalol special drivers or something because i dont have the idea it is faster

This is very interesting!
I'm thinking about changing my FE11S's HD too with a faster 7200 rpm. The original 4200rpm is a bit slow when coming to compositing and complex video editing.
BUT: what doy you mean saying that there's no perfonrmance difference? What was your original hd?

well, 4200 t/min / 7200 t/min the system and application booting very right... i have adding no driver for this HD. same alimentation and the performance is here !! :smileygrin:

Is it easy to change HD by self or we need some expert to change that.
