Does anyone know why I cannot play Call of Duty 2 on my PCV-w. I keep getting a message saying driver or video card does not support alpha blending. Is the graphics card faulty or do drivers need updating and how? The machine is only 12 months old.

Hi horner21 and welcome to ClubVaio.

This usually means your graphics cannot handle this game or your drivers need updating. I cannot find a driver update for your SiS 651 Integrated Graphics.

I suspect it is the case that the graphics chip just cant manage it - you have a maximum of 32MB shared graphics memory.

Not economically

You do not have an interchangeable graphics card - the graphics chip is soldered into the main board.

Is it possible to buy a pci card and fit that? Im tearing my hair out. How can a $1000+ machine not be powerful enough to play a video game?

Next time look at graphics specs before paying $1000+ dollars
