Club VAIO Search is Needed

I am new to the forums and have seen the announcement concerning search not being available (dated Dec08)and the work around to use google site search.

When will the Forums search feature be fixed. I did use the work around, but it did not bring any information on the progress of this fault.

I agree that the lack of a search facility is a real pain, but if you post your problem I am sure that other members will endeavour to help.

I agree that other members will no doubt be able to help, but it really is a pain not being able to search the forum.

I do not know of any other major PC manufacturer that has forums that do not allow or provide a search facility.

Is Sony even looking into this issue - or do they not really care.

Sony prides itself as providing higher quality products than most - their surveys are always looking to provide them with ideas to make things better - this is one way that would help !!

I totally agree with the points that you make and rest assured that Vaio Experts and Moderators are constantly pushing for a search facility.

One complication is that this is a multi lingual forum which does present problems, but there again even when this was an English only forum the search facility, when working, was fairly useless

In the years I was here I never saw any change in the position about improving the search, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
