Hi all,
I am having a huge problem with my Sony Vaio FGN-FW275J with BLU-RAY driver reader.
I bought this notebook to be able to use this new media.
However, when i try to watch a blu-ray movie on my Sony Vaio, software INTERVIDEO WINDVD BD for VAIO said the key was expired.
It was requested to register to Corel site and update the software. It was done.
But everytime i try to run a blu-ray movie, shows up this message:
"your display enviroment does not support protected content playback"
What heck is going on? This situation is ridiculous, and i cant use a product i bought and that wasnt cheap.
Version of InterVideo WinDVD is 8.0 DXVA B09.754
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Sam1978 and welcome
HDCP prevents the playing of protected media on more than a single device - this is to prevent copying blu-ray content.
You are probably trying to display the movie on BOTH the laptop screen and the TV at the same time. Try pressing Fn + F7 and toggle to the external display only.
