Blu-Ray Discs not being recognised

My Vaio aw11mh has suddenly stopped playing blu-ray discs and is displaying a msg box saying that it doesn't recognise the discs. anyone know what could be the problem?

welcome to Club VAIO..

Have you installed the winDVD BD updates available for your VAIO..

WinDVD BD Update - 8.0.9.670_2

WinDVD BD Update - 8.0.9.754

If not you can download the updates from Vaio support..

To open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:Vaio support

Under Log-in option 2: Select your VAIO model, next to Select Model Category - Select your model from the drop down list, in your case VGN AW.

Then next to Select Model - select AW11MH

Then click Log-In

Once logged select Downloads and follow the installation instructions..
