BATTERY PROBLEM ON GRT816M

Hello to everybody!

i'm a owner of a Sony Vaio notebook PCG-GRT816M
all work fine since yesterday.

if i have the ac adapter inserted on my vaio the light of the battery flash twice (orange) and it meaning that is in charge; if i leave the ac adapter from my vaio, the light of the battery is still flash twice (orange) as is in charge! also my windows xp (with all update) on the tray bar say that is connected to the electricity...

this involves that the notebook works always at maximum rating alwais...

i have tryed to take off the battery from the vaio but is the same thing.

This sounds like a software bug rather than an actual problem with the battery. Try sending to an email, they keep a list of known little problems like this they may well have a quick and easy solution. It's difficult to fix bugs through forums.

Check that you have powerpannel to change when you are not using AC Power.
