Another Memory Slot & Stick Problem!

Hi there,
My FJ1 is driving me crazy. It won't recognise that there is a memory stick in the slot (drive E). I've tried uninstalling the drivers, reinstalling the drivers, doing a system restore..... nothing works. Tried to right click and format the drive, it just keeps telling me there is no memeory stick in the slot, but the stick (pro duo) works fine in my T7 camera and in my w900i.

The indicator light on the laptop lights up to confirm there is a stick in the slot, just the computer doesn't agree with it. Any help out there please?

Yeah Josh stick to your great sense of humour............. just using a vacuum cleaner then touching the case of a computer you might as well use a belt sander on the ceiling above it (some builders I know destroyed an entire multiplexer floor in an office they were rennovating with plaster dust) as the static electricity is conducted through and carried by the user (sucker) LOL

ok guys...... you're making me smile at least!
I'll try the compressed air. The laptop is only a few months old so if that doesn't work it's straight back to the sony centre for this little puppy.
