sony KDL-40WD653 apps

Hi 

I bought a sony kdl 40wd653 about 2 years ago. I knew nothing about tvs but I told the guy in the shop I wanted a smart tv to get netflix google, rte player and all that kind of thing on it. To be honest we only ever used netflix on it. I was at it there tonight and I went looking for google or how to even add apps to it and I couldnt see how to do it. any help would be great

I havnt yet but will that let me down load google etc . I cant even see where to look for it in the first place

did update there now. no sign of google etc. all I have are netflix, youtube and other apps i never heard off. no search . went into an opera app. never heard of anything in it.. all i want is bloody google..lol
