Sony Bravia KDL-40EX713, black screen after firmware update

hello, i have a serious issue with my tv, when i try to turn it on, only the green light turns on... nothing else happens, no picture or voice, just that black screen. my tv worked perfectly before it updated itself. please, help me... is there any way to reset my tv? or is it just broken?

Have you tried pulling the plug out of the wall and leaving it for 5 minutes. That might reset it.. Failing that, I'd give the call centre a ring and they can troubleshoot the problem.
