There is an SONY announcement:
The Skype for TV service will end as of June 30, 2017. You will not be able to use the service on your Blu-ray Disc player or television after that date.
In the list of affected models is kdl-26ex553. My TV model number is kdl-26ex550.
Currently in the TV there is an Skype aplication, but of some reason it signed off from the skype account itself couple of weeks ago and I am not abble to sign in anymore. After few seconds of signing in, the application is closed and returns to home page.
Question:
I have this issue because of the announcement and mymodel is affected too, eventhou it is not on the list of affected model, but it is of the same family,
or I have other issue?
How can I check if my TV is affected too? Will be skype application automaticlly uninstalled?

Hi there
All models of all brands of TVs are effected by this. Basically Microsoft has pulled the plug on Skype on all TVs.
