Please help, nothing seems to work, I can't get my Bravia KDL-40V550 to connect to BIV !?!?!

Please can anyone help, I bought an ethernet cable after accepting it doens't have wi fi, I've set it up so I got the 'connection successful' message when the screen auto connected and I've tried downloading firmware and flashing it to the screen but it doens't recognise any thing, and I've signed up to Love Film who told me I need a software update>>!>

And all I got is nothing!

Any and all help much appreciated!

Hi

This TV simply doesn't have the online functionality. Easiest thing to do is get any of the current Blu-ray players or the SMP-N200 Netbox which will add the functionality to what is still a very good TV.
