Netflix issues

Is it possible to restart Netflix only? I keep having to reset to factory settings to fix Netflix issues.

I cannot press Return to leave an episode of a show. I can exit the app, I just cannot exit the show. When I navigate to Exit option in Netflix menu the screen just goes black for a while. I then have to press Exit on remote and choose No in menu and the show starts playing again. I just want to go to Netflix home screen and choose something else.

In the past I have also had issues with Youtube and Netflix not loading videos but they were solved after a factory reset. This issue only applies to Netflix.

I'm just going to try to find some answers for you. In the meantime, maybe someone else in the community might have some ideas.

Hi Just got my new tv and I too am having the same issues, however if I go to Netflix via another devise it works fine so I can only assume it a tv issue but I do not know the answer so if anyone out there can help them PLEASE DO SO

I just bought the TV recently myself. Netflix works well on all other devices. I only get issues with my Sony TV. (KD49XF7002)

I reset the TV and its only been a few hours and I will have to reset to factory settings again. When I use Netflix, I just see a black screen with a red loading gif animation. I only upgraded my TV cos I wanted easy access to the Netflix / YouTube apps.

Welcome to our community!

Instead of resetting your TV to factory settings you can to update Internet Content services on your TV in an attempt to resolve this issue. Press Home, then select System Settings - Setup - Network - Refresh Internet Content.
