I've just got a new kdl-55hx853 and I can't figure out how the apps are supposed to work. The manual is useless, as is the i-manual.
I have an internet connection; I press the SEN button; a list of apps, videos and music is displayed.
If I select any of the music or videos and press the select button it opens them up to play the music or whatever, so that's all working and proves the internet coonection is working.
But if I do the same thing for any of the apps - ie. bbc news, sky news, iplayer, demand 5 etc then nothing happens. It just beeps and highlights it like it's going to do something, then... nothing...
Have I missed something?
oh wait. facebook works, and twitter, and skype - so basically all the crap stuff. But why doesn't iplayer/demand5/news work?
