KDL 43WF6BU won't switch between HDMI inputs.

Hi

I have 2 devices connected to the HDMI ports a Sky box on HDMI 1  and a occasionally  a laptop on HDMI 2.

When I select which input I want to watch I see the same signal on both channels so if I am using the laptop and then switch to HDMI 1 input I still see the laptop. Depending on which input I select first I can see the Sky box on both channels. If I have only one input source connected then I can only see the source on the connected input. I have reversed the inputs and changed the cables with out success.

This TV replaces a 40" Bravia which worked fine using the same input sources and cables.

In my original post I had listed the wrong tv model.

I think you may need to switch the video input to 'Auto'.  For more details on this, please see here.

I have solved this now. I was connecting the laptop while the TV was switched on.

If I connect while the TV is off everthing works OK
