KD-43XE7077 Firmware v8.885

Hi everyone,

I have had problem with my Sony TV since I updated it on new Firmware v8.885.
I have Sony KD-43XE7077 and after update I can't open Netflix and DW?
Does anybody know how to fix that or is there possibility to go back at an old version of Firmware?

Please refresh internet content via network menu - this should solve the issue.

I tried and unfortunately it has worked partially. The DW works now but Netflix I still can't open.

Do you get a specific error message or code when you start Netflix? Does the app crash? tell us more.

I am sorry for not describing more. 😞
There is no code or message. When I try to open I barely can see log in and app just crash.

Try a power cycle first, but if the issue remains, try connecting the TV to a WiFi hotspot to check if the same happens on a different network connection (make sure the phone used for tethering is on 4G as opposed to your home Wi-Fi)

Thanks for advise,  unfortunately didn't help. The power cycle helps  only for first time using Netflix. When I want to start Netflix the second time I have the same problem, app crash. I also tried to connect my TV to another WiFi hotspot , the result is the same. So power cycle works partly.

it's not possible to revert to older software versions. I'd recommend resetting the TV to factory settings.
