Internet Connection error 5006 (firmware is current)

I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40EX403 with the current firmware PKG4.110EUL-0108 that has decided in the past two weeks to not support connecting to the internet.  I have reset the TV, modem and web connections a number of times.  I have had all devices off power for a period to ensure any reset will work.  I can not resolve this issue, so the TV is effectively unable to connect to any web activities.  Any thoughts/assistance is much appreciated.

This is usually cause by a slow Internet connection speed.
