I don't know if I'm able to install apps

I have Sony TV (linux tv as far as I know)  KD-55XF7096 and I would like to install HBO GO there but I don't know how to. Any advice? (i have read that there is something called "opera go" and you can install apps with it but its not there)

Sony TVs that use the Linux operating system cannot add apps.

It is only the Android TVs that allow you to add apps.
