EPG reminder function stopped working on 01/01/21
I have 2 old TVs - KDL20S4000 & KDL26S3000 - as of this morning (1st Jan 2021) the reminder function on the EPG stopped working. When I try to set the reminder I get an error message saying "This event data is invalid". I use the reminder function a lot to plan my viewing. How do I get ***** working again?

I too have the same issue.
I can no longer plan with Freeview, or set a reminder, for an automatic change of channel to any programme that I wish to watch, I just receive the message "This Event data Is Invalid".
My old but lovely Sony, Product Information states...
1: KDL-40W2000
2: 4041294
3: V-F-K-HT-K-TS (For Service)
I hope this helps Sony resolve this very annoying development, in what I can only describe as being a flawless product to date.

The issue remains unresolved so far. Sony is still investigating it.

Probably time for us all to start sounding off on social media not to buy a Sony TV. I have found that Trustpilot, Facebook and Twitter usually get a company to act. and

It's a bizarre issue to say the least. I haven't heard back from Sony about this but I'm sure they're working up a fix for it. I can only imagine the number of calls they get about it given how popular their TVs are.

Call me a cynic, but I'm afraid we'll hear nothing. 😐
