It is great reading. It shows that Sony cannot get its act together. It is losing money year after year because it cannot produce good quality products at the present. To add insult to injury, it lost sight of its customers as well. People used to feel special when buying Sony. However, Sony does not care about its customer any longer. The sales are going down because people are not returning. This forum is full of loyal Sony Customer changing ship because they do not look after their customers. Most of us do not expect perfection but we at least expect that if something is wrong they will do they best to see it right. People cannot be paying premium prices and getting low end product.

I bought the 65HX923 because it was its flagship TV which in paper is a good TV. One expects that the flagship TV at least will have some sort of superior quality. It is the TV that will say what Sony is capable of. Well it definitely does say what Sony is capable of. They are capable of producing really rubbish TV faulty from factory and asking 4500 pounds for them. In addition Sony Support does only not care about its customer. It tells them lies and fobs them off without finding solutions to their problems. If I were the only one complaining about these TV’s it would be safe to assume that it was one that slipped of the line but it seems that there are more unhappy customers that happy ones.

indeed it was interesting and certainly strengthens the fact that they lose sight of their customers as they are put last over profit, but to be fair its not the only manufacturer is it, Hitachi have already pulled the plug and with losses as big as these who's next!

that aside, what i find that may be really interesting is this, of all the manufacturers improving on their internet smart tv capabilities and new apps, more and more people turn to them and buy boasting that they can do this and they can do that, BUT, none of it is any good if the service provider decides to follow suit like they have in Korea will it?

erm, i think thats a tad unfair as i believe the chimps are fair more intelligent than most would believe, make excellent quality control experts!:smileylaugh:

jokes aside, i have discovered that Sony are using less expensive S-PVA panels in their high end Bravia range!

whether the less is more approach makes for a better panel is beyond me!
