USB connector Type

Hi there,

I search all over the internet but I coundn't find a clear answer wich typ of USB connector I need for OTG.

For me, the female connector on the smartphone looks like a A/B micro usb port.

Thanks in advance!

It's micro USB (type B for sure, probably takes type A too but all my chargers/cables are type B) on the Xperia S end, and whatever you like at the other (as far as I know!)

The only one I've done is to connect a USB flash drive to it (I bought a  USB A female to micro USB male adaptor off e-bay just so i could connect the 2 things together)

I have only tested with LiveDock and it works, you can connect USB flash drives to it via LiveDock. I'm not sure what third party products that work though.

the USB data/charge cable which was shipped with the phone is a micro USB A cable

but the OTG cable which i bought is a micro USB B cable (Nokia CA-157) and it fits - so I was a little surprised Thinking_Face

So I thought the Xerpia S possesses a combined micro USB A/B jack.

Well, as long as I didn't damage the usb jack of my phone I'm realy relieved Slightly_smiling_Face

Thanks for your replies.
