unable to update my Xperia U

i connect my phone to PC with USB cable, it starts PC Companion (i have installed latest 2.1), it shows update is available, when i start updating, it downloads files from internet>prepares then an error message appers telling unable to install components. Where is the problem?... has anybody faced this problem?

most of the Xperia users are using PCC to update their phones (2011 Xperias) so it's acting up try this instead

my Xperia U is now updated.

but it has only updated 'build'... can i know when will be the ICS available for Xperia U??

I have the same problem. I want to get the new firmware and i connected my phone with usb to my pc. I got the white screen with blue characters that says that he is controlling my phone. Then afterwards i got a screen on the right of my monitor that says that s1boot has been installed and that he is looking for configurated programs in the directorys and nothing happens afterwards.

I tried already 7 times with 2 different pc's. Can someone help me.

I also tried to do it via Pc Companion and with Update service. Same problem
