Ps3 Pad connection problem

Hi

I recently bought a USB otg cable and was hoping to connect a ps3 pad to my xperia s so i can use it for games like virtua tennis etc. But when i connect the pad using the usb i get an error on the phone saying it consumes to much power but i just want to connect it so then i can use bluetooth to connect it again. is there a special way to do this?

there isn't a way to do so, as you can see there's a hardware limitation, I would suggest looking at the market for an app that can connect this and your S through bluetooth
