Music player issue

I added a few hundred songs earlier to my  sony xperia s, and now the music player album art flashes and when trying to change songs it judders, anyway recommendations on how to fix this? Quite annoying as the music side to the phone is the main reason I bought it, any help appreciated.

Anyone else had this problem? I can't even change songs, would some kind of reset be worth trying? Not really a techie so don't want to mess it up further.

which format are the songs? where did you transfered them to and how?

Thanks for the reply, they're mp3's I took off my Ipod using winamp, then re transferred by dropping them back into my xperia via winamp, reckon it might be worth taking them all back off?

yeah transfer them with Media Go
