Laptop Crashed - when tried to install ICS update - Please help how to install

Laptop - Acer 5742 G

i -5 Processor

4GB RAM

500 GB Hard Disk

Windows Home Premium

Mobile Xperia - S

Performed Following steps:

1. Connected phone to my Laptop through cable

2. Did Back up all mycontacts,Messages,Settings

3. PC Companion -> clicked on Software Update

4. Software download started

5. at the time download complete - Blue screen in Laptop - Recored System Crash exactly when the downloaded completed and some file were installing

why is this issues , Please sony Team help me and provide me the clear steps to Install/Update Latest OS

Disable antivirus and firewall during the update

Is your phone working ? or not ?

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

                  or
