Well, I have a Generic Gamepad which is being detected by my LWW but shows the "USB Power Consumption Error" as it requires 500 ma power..My LWW is on GB with stock ROM and kernel which supports OTG..So I saw a video that a 32 gb memory card had the same problem with Xperia S which was solved using a unpowered USB hub...So after buying that my Gamepad is detected and no error is shown but there's no power directed to my gamepad and it doesn't work. So does this mean that a powered usb hub will solve my problem?? Please help it's urgent. Thanks in advance.. |

Your wellcome ankitdaruler.
Yes, the powered Hub should solve the issue for you.
Best regards.
Francis.
Hello Ankitdaruler
In the past we had a similar issue with a USB device, In some computers or devices with low power on the USB ports the device just would not run at all or the only thing that would be detected by the PC or device was the internal SD card.
In most cases users solved the issue by using a powered USB hub to connect the device first and then to the unit/phone.
In fact if you visit YouTube you will find several examples of using the game pad with a power hub and a 3 way USB power source (Search in YouTube for "generic game pad android")
Hope this helps.

Well firstly thank you for answering my query..And does it mean that if my gamepad is being detected by LWW but not running it should be only the power supply problem and not drivers problem?? Isn't it.??
Thanks Man...:)
