data monitor/apps

two queries for help please:

1. in the userguide there is mention of a data monitor. Anybody know where this is??

2. how can I get some rid ofsome of the apps/widgets i don't need. I can get them in the dustbin but they don't stay there!!

Installed Onavo Count App - feels & performs good.

Will really appreciate a response about native data monitor, for us un-initiated...

Tap and hold on homescreen > widgets > data monitor

To remove widgets > press and hold on a widget > drag it to the bin

2- You can`t unless you flash a new rom.
