when i closed my camera i hear a "tick" sound when my ear was too closed with my mobile.

i try also sample of mobile in the service center they are the same. when you are in a crowd area you will not hear anything.

but if you here a loud sound, try to ask them why it was happening.

hello! i'm new here and i was looking for some answers to the ticking sound the phone makes when you close the main screen of the camera. the thread has been labeled answered but i think the answer is a bit incomplete. anyway, i never heard any ticking sound before until very recently --- like a few hours ago. i'm using android version 4.0.3 // build number 4.1.a.0.562. i read what uliwooly said that it's normal. but if it were, then the sound should have already been there when i first bought my phone. there's a new update available but i haven't updated my phone yet because i may lose some data like last time when i updated to ICS from gingerbread so i'm sticking to my current version for now. i was wondering if the issue has been fixed after updating to the latest version. i'm also wondering what's causing this ticking sound. because if it's a hardware problem and there ought to be moving parts inside, and if this thing keeps on ticking, it may eventually wear off certain moving parts. i want to take my phone to the service center but if there's a solution to this issue without going there i'd welcome it. also, as a side note, my phone no longer detects my 32gb micro sd card. i'm not sure if there's a connection between the two. i still need to look for an extra micro sd card to make sure that the prob with my memory and not the phone. btw, i noticed the ticking sound appeared when this thing happened.
