Arc S update problem

Hi

Mine is an Arc S LT18 model when i connect it to PCC it is saying there is a s/w update available when i check, it is from 4.1.A.562 to 4.1.B.0.431.but if start updating it's struck in prepairing computer for software update. please tell me a solution to upgrade my phone

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe
