App to SD problems

Hi All,

I have upgraded my Xperia Arc to the latest ICS update. I am now having problems moving some of my Apps to the SD Card.

Settings> Apps > Downloaded > Select App > Move to SD card.

After selecing the App and choosing move to SD card the phone sits on moving and freezes.

I have tried a factory reset and reinstalled all my Apps from Google Play but the problem is still the same.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Any ideas on how to rectify it?

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

Hi Nabeel,

Have tried the repair/update route with PC Companion but make no difference.

Will give it another try and see what happens.

Then i think you will have to format your SD card as well

Transfer all contents of memory card to pc if you wan't and then format your SD card

Settings > storage > Erase SD card
