how do i tell if i have android 4.0 on my phone any help would be good thanks

Menu - Settings - About Phone
At the bottom Build Number
If it says 3.6x or 3.7x x been another number then you have Ginger Bread if it says 4.0.x then you have ICS
ty it must be ICS cause it says 6.0.a.xxx
what is the last bit after a
build number 6.0.a.3.75
the reason why i asked is cause it says android version 2.3.7

Officially you have the latest firmware for your phone or I should say your region - There are other options which include manually flashing an ICS firmware using Flashtool you will need an ICS FTF file and you will need to follow these instructions found here http://www.xperiablog.net/2012/03/26/debrand-your-xperia-s-tutorial/
