Unable to delete message from messaging App

Unable to delete message from messaging App either Draft or old message.

I also try to clear data (Apps> Messaging App) and try after but its not working Pls  help

Hi @Priyank2,

To delete a draft or a conversation, press and hold on it until you get a trash can in the top right corner of your screen. Tap the trash can to delete the conversation or draft.

To delete a individual message you need to open a conversation, then tap and hold on the message you want to delete, until delete message is show.

Let me know if this helps or if you are still having difficulties deleting your messages.

Thanks for revert.

I did same earlier ,but my query is after deletion process (took long) my message still appear in messaging app.

Also I clear threads from Apps>Messaging Apps> clear data ...

But still problem is there

You messages are not stored in the messaging app. They are stored in a app called Phone/messaging storage. Note that if you clear data for this app you will delete all messages stored on your phones internal memory as well as your call log.

To do so go to: Settings > Apps > All > Phone/messaging storage > Clear data > Ok

How Can I delete individual message..

To delete a single message in your device, open the conversation where the message you want to delete is located. Then press and hold the message until a menu pops up, tap Delete message to the delete just that single message.

Thanks but its not working...

I tried basic way to delete message (single ) or whole conversation but issue still there ...

Its showing deleting while I tap on delete also have notification of deleted but message still appear..
