yesterday i updated my sony xperia L 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 till 24 hours it works fine suddenly it started restarting when i used to open chrome please help out
I had the same problem with a new Xperia L. Tried everything listed above, still did it. Took it to Sony Technical department. They reloaded the software, same problem. They then gave me a new Xperia L. The new phone does the same. I think there is a bug of some kind with the 4.2.2 version. I will keep on taking the phone back to them until they come up with a solution.
second phone do the same...PLUS the second phone have usb charging issue, the screen shake while charging, this is a totally hardware issue. thanks got amazon will get back this piece of s..martphone.
After updating in 4.2 jelly bean... Hanging problem continues occurring and even during the call I can not use my contact details or other app.. It's irritating. You are requested please respond the same.
Me too suffering from same problem since 6 months hence took it to service centre Ferry have changed my mother board and gave Even though the same problem occurred Hence again visited to them
And they did do the same change of mother board again Even now also same problem continues It happens only when we open chrome with enabled GPS If not it's not happening. That's why I switched off the GPS and using Service centre people are escaping from this kind of problem
guys it's due to poor memory managemen by the os itself .chrome needs more memory to operate if the memory is full it leads to clearing of ram and eventually if the app needs more ram the system files will itself gets cleared from the ram leading to restart ,it cannot be cured just by uninstalling the updates the kernel needs to be tweaked for proper function.it's upto sony now.i have downgraded to 4.1.2 and apart from battery life and camera i'm using the phone happily with no bugs.
