I can't open my xperia l after overnight charging

Hi guys can you help me to my problem? Yesterday when i'm playing temple run my phone automatically shut down. I'd tried to open it again but it's not responding . there is a red light in the buttom of the phone when i'm trying to open my handset. And when i try to charge it there's no prompt of charging. What will i do? what is probable cause of this? Please help me.

Connect to wall charger,keep it charging for 1 hour,force restart(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).

i already tried to do the resetting but there is no response to the phone.. What is other option to fix my problem?

If you turn it off and connect to pc for sony update service,what happens?

i tried to open my phone when connecting to pc but there's no response from my phone. what could be the possible reason of this? is it a hardware or software issue?
