Can't open links on my Xperia L

I can't open any links that appear on Facebook, Twitter, any that friends send me in text messages etc. It's only started happening in the last 24 hours. Help please!

Try the following thing, Settings > Apps > Chrome > Uninstall updates. Then go to Google Play and update Chrome to latest version.

But if this doesn't solve the problem a repair via SUS would be recommended:
www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/

Would be great if you could you elaborate. What happens when you try to open a link? What type of links are you unable to open? Do you get the option to open the link with a specific program?

I'll tap the link and it will go to browser for a split second but then immediately go back to the link in the message or on facebook or wherever

For example theres a link to BBC news on Facebook I can't open. There's also a link to a website I was sent this morning in a text and that won't open.

Are you using Chrome as your browser or have you installed another browser? Can you open the browser without pressing a link, for example that you go to Chrome directly?

If you send a text message to yourself with "www.google.com", can you open this link?

I have exactly the same problem since yesterday morning.

I can use my apps, but I cannot see any website

I can use my apps, but I cannot see any website, even sending me a text message with www.google.com and I am not using a different browser
