alarm clock not deleted

I put yesterday an alarm clock just providing the hour it would ring. Today, it rang. Possibly, I pressed on the snooze/postpone button. Since I missed the button which stops the alarm, I deleted the alarm. But it continued ringing. Then I turned the phone off. How should I deactivate this phantom alarm?

I found it at last. There was a similar post. I should have turn the alarm clock off from the notifications slide down menu. Also, when you declare a new alarm clock, in the complex settings menu, you can declare the side buttons to cancel/turn off the alarm.
