Morning all, I have the HDT1000 although this applies equally to the hdt500.
I record several older programmes that were originally aired in 4:3 such as Frasier. My previous recorder displays this on a 16:9 tv perfectly well, albeit stretched. I am sure that all TVs have done this for quite a few years as broadcasters changed from std to wide screen.
When I play back the recording from the sony box it's in 4:3 ratio.
How can I change this?
