Hi,
I have a KDL-46NX713 that is sat in the SUB460s soundbar.
I have Sky HD set up via HDMI also.
I want to get a blu-ray player but have been told that I'll need to get a optical cable for the sky box's audio.
Does the soundbar have an optical in?
Can I set it all up so that the soundbar plays the audio from the sky hd box and the blu-ray player without having to switch cables etc?
Could anyone also provide a rough idea of cabling flow?
I think that the blu-ray and sky boxes would plug directly into the hdmi slots on the soundbar and then two hdmi's from the soundbar to the back of the TV? Then an optical cable from the sky box to the soundbar? Is this correct?
Thank you in advance for any assistance
Hi:smileyhappy:
I don't think the soundbar have any optic input as mentioned in its manual http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/4198724221.pdf
I propose the route of HDMI cables will be : SKY box will be connected directly to the TV , and Blu-ray to HDMI input for soundbar , then TV to soundbar through HDMI ARC scoket
Thank you very much for the reply - I shall try that route of cabling..
Very helpful ineed! Cheers!
