I read the reviews online and bought STRDN1030 understanding that it is Bluetooth enabled but for some reason UK Sony have taken that feature off the models. I have no idea why as this in my view is a good capability. or am I daft and mixing it up
STRDN1030.CEK is my model I think.

Hi Amir
Yes, seemingly the European DN1030 doesn't have Bluetooth. Not sure why, however it does have wi-fi and Airplay so still options to stream content wirelessly from a mobile handset.
Thanks
I also read reviews, went to pick up a Denon 2113 and that was out of stock, so decided to grab the last 1030 in stock as I liked the idea of the bluetooth facility auto-switch on when streaming from Android phone..... probaby should have checked spec's in the shop but all the references onine I looked at stated the 3 options for streaming, one being bluetooth.
A bit gutted really. I know the Denon doesn't have BT but the UI is so much better, but I knew the UI on the Sony wasn;t great as I have a STRDN1000 and it's almost identical to the 1030.
I wonder if the BT hardware is actully in the receiver -- I suspect not, but would be great if they saw fit to give that functionality back.
Had the receiver for about 8 hours now, watched John Carter -- well impressed with the 3D pass through and audio.
Doing the update now via the internet --- as per instructions, does seem to take a while -- been going about 25 minutes so far. I would like to see a revision history of the update to know what it's actually updating.
