Sony RDX-HX510 DVD/HDD Recorder

Hi,  The Front Pannel Display on the above recorder is very weak even when in "Normal" Mode. Can anyone assist with this problem please? I have engineering skills and test instruments but no cicuit diagram or data. I would be most grateful for some help please.  Thanks, Ray

Mine has gone the same way - looks loke a stock fault?

Tried to send a e-mail but Blencogo's mailbox is full.

Is this fault a supply isue or failing display?
