Sony RDR-DC505 - Deleting programmes

Hi Guys,

I have the above model and recently recorded a programme on HDD from Freeview.

I was unable to play it once it had recorded, though I have been able to rename it.

I have deleted everything from my HDD drive bar this one item to see if that would improve things, but to no avail. Whenever I open up the HDD title list it says "Read error. Cannot play this file format."

It sounds like something has corrupted. Do I just leave it and forget about it, or does anybody know a way to zap the blighter?

I have the same problem with my RDR-DC305.  One file, try to delete it and it justs sits there. Then have to reset to get back to normal.

Any ideas chaps, short of a disc format!
