Sony DVP SR750H bought as multi region but region 2?

I have bought this player twice now as it fits the bill for our needs but it needs to be multi region.

Each time the sellers site has stated that it is multi region but it is not, its region 2.

Seems to me this player must have the capability to be multi region ...any ideas anyone?

Hi,

if indeed the seller says its multi-region then it should be multi -region, ignore what it says on the box or the back of the unit and instead play a disc from another region for example region 1 (usa) and see if it plays it.

if it does your ok, if not get your money back and go elsewhere.
