Sony DAF S800 speakers - reuse

I currently have a Sony DAV-S800, can I re use the speakers with a new AV receiver such as the STR-DH820?

I realise that I need to change the speaker connections, but how would the sub woofer connect?

Hi,

personally i wouldent risk it for fear of damaging one or the other, the speakers can only handle 50watts each the amp pumps out 100 watts, and the sub is passive and not active.

if i was you after purchasing a nice amp like that, i would build up the speaker package slowly with the right ones.
