Sony BDV-E370 Volume Issues

I have recently bought a 46NX703 TV and BDV-E370 blu-ray home cinema kit to compliment it. When I first set it up, I had problems with the HDMI audio return and the Bravi Sync functionality. However, the biggest issue is the fact that I have to operate the E370 at 22/33 volume level i.e. 2/3 of the overall volume for normal viewing which seems odd for a 850 watt system. I have had the unit returned to Sony and feedback was no fault found. Having setup the system again, the issue is still there. Any thoughts?

Hi when you say normal viewing are you talking about say Freeview through the audio system?

On the old analogue connections you could adjust the TV output, however this is no longer available through the HDMI audio return, so it would be normal that some inputs or even media would need the volume turned up higher in some cases, of this is much easier to do with HDMI control and only needs the single remote, progress ah

Hi, no I was referring to both watching TV and DVD/BD system when I stated the volume levels.

You mentioned something about HDMI control, can you please elabarote on how this may be used to overcome the problem.
