I have a Bravia KDL40NX713 which is working through a SU-B440S stand. I originaly just had my HDD box plugged in via HDMI to the TV.
When playing a DVD with Dolby Digital the lights on the stand indicating Dolby Digital etc would light up and the sound was pretty good (i thought)...
I then added a Blu Ray Player (BDP_S480) into the mix, I noticed when playing DVD through the BluRay the Dolby lights on the stand come on but when I play BluRay they dont???? The sound quality also seems better (more surround) when using the DVD disc too... Ive checked the settings etc and cant see anything wrong...
So should these lights come on when playing bluray through the stand?
I checked the Dolby info on the back of the DVD and Blu Ray and it seems to be the same so dont understand whay it doesnt seem to work...
