I have a SMP-N200 have no problems playing Iplayer and 5OnDemand can acces YouTube but here is where the problems begin:
Youtube account on the PC allows me to watch Channel 4 and sister channels without a problem, via media player it allows me to acces my YT account, but does not allow me to acces Channel 4 and sister channels (it does show snippets of the shows but not the full episodes as if i am sitting on my PC
The problem is also the same with the free films that are available on YT
Why is this?
Media servers: is there maybe an option to make some suggestions as to what will be the best media server to use to allow streaming from the network, i have tried a few, but they do seem to suffer with functionality once picked up by the Media Player.
Any suggestions?
When using media servers, some allow internet streaming channels to be provided but when accessing these via the Media Player, most times the box freezes and then does not want to reboot. Only way to stop the flashing media player is to unplug it from the mains, surely this can not be correct?
Why is this and why does the media player freeze?
Streaming channels from Europe is possible via the PC however accessing and streaming these via the media player appears to be either not possible, results in a media player freeze or displays a message saying that it can not play the media (it can via my PC, so guessed as it is a media player that brings online content alive that this would be one of its abilities)
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to manage / add streaming channels to the default options (like Iplayer etc..)?
So a few questions, hoping for some answers.
