RDR-HXD870

I cannot record and watch another programme at the same time. The TV is a Tevion LCD3207.

I have connected units with a scart lead and using Line 3 out.

When recording I select TV mode but I still can't select any other channel.

I wonder if anyone has any ideas

It is simply not possible. The recorder has only one DTV tuner and if it is doing something with it it cannot do anything else. Even if you record from another source (i.e. Line 3) it blocks everything. You can still watch recorder programmes from the HDD or DVD (there is some limitation on some divx format). Obviously you can still watch directly your TV set.

Thank you. I will be installing freesat soon, I guess then I will be able to watch another channel and record at the same time.
