Hi
I have a RDR-DC505.
I want to copy a programme from the HDD to DVD. I can do this at normal speed, but I understand I am able to do this at high speed. I'm using DVD+R 16x speed discs, but when I dub it just copies at normal 1x speed.
I can't find any option / menu to be able to do high speed dubbing. The instruction manual doesn't help either.
Any one any ideas how I can dub at high speed?
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks.
Craig
As far as I know (in Italy we don't have the DC505, the top is DC200) there is absolutely non possibility on the DC series to dub at high speed: it needs to convert the video file and does it replaying at normal speed it. The high dub option was possible in oldest machine like mine RDR-HXD. it's crazy but it's like this...
Hi
Thanks for the reply. The instruction manual does mention high speed dubbing, but not how to do it. It says...
'...if you've used high speed dubbing...'
but that's the only mention.
Sony shop say it should high speed dub (but they don't know how to do it).
Any ideas?
Craig
Maybe give the call centre a buzz tomorrow and see if they can clarify?
